
Five Players Named IL Midseason All-Americans

Five Syracuse players were selected as Mid-Season All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse, including a pair on the second team.
Brendan Curry and Peter Dearth headlined the second team, while Stephen Rehfuss and Tucker Dordevic garnered third team honors and Brett Kennedy was tabbed as an honorable mention honoree.

Curry enters Saturday's game vs. North Carolina having recorded three-straight multi-goal games. A two-time team captain, Curry leads all Orange midfielders with 22 points thus far.
Dearth, the first three-time captain in Syracuse lacrosse history, has scored twice and added an assist offensively this year in addition to his defensive play. He has 20 ground balls on the year, which is third on the team and second among non-faceoff specialists this season.
Rehfuss is having a breakout senior campaign, leading the Orange with 38 points through eight games. He is one of just three players nationally to score 20+ goals and shot over 50-percent on the year thus far, joining Maryland's Dylan Maltz and Richmond's Dalton Young. Rehfuss has 20 goals and 18 assists on the year thus far.
Dordevic is second among midfielders at 'Cuse this season with 19 points (14-5) thus far. He is also shooting at .333 on the year, which is a career-high for a season in his career to date.
Kennedy enters this weekend's game ranked 10th all-time at SU with 36 career caused turnovers. After two starts on close defense to begin the season, he moved back to LSM and has recorded eight caused turnovers and picked up 25 ground balls – most among non faceoff specialists – since.
'Cuse returns to action on Saturday at 3 p.m. vs. North Carolina.
