Orange Close Regular Season at FSU

Senior Ella Saada recorded 14 digs and six kills and redshirt sophomore Viktoriia Lokhmanchuk added eight kills in Syracuse's 3-0 loss at Florida State on Friday in the final match of the 2020-21 season. The Orange finish the COVID-19 altered season with a 7-9 overall record and a 7-8 record in the ACC. Florida State (14-5, 9-5) took advantage of early set scoring runs in each of the three sets to win the match 3-0.
A native of Kfar Masaryk, Israel, Saada closes her Orange career with 891 kills, 810 digs, 130 blocks, 88 assists and 78 service aces. She played in every match during her four years on the Syracuse team. Syracuse posted a 60-45 record in Saada's four years. In 2018 Saada and the Orange earned the program's first NCAA Tournament invitation and beat Yale in the first round. She will earn Syracuse degrees in forensic science and psychology.
