Cooke, Mundundu Earn One University Awards

Seniors Claire Cooke (Field Hockey) and Anicet Mundundu (men's rowing) were awarded the student-athlete award for Syracuse's One University Awards on Friday, May 7.
The One University Student-Athlete Award is given to the female and male student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point averages amongst seniors in the athletic department. The University's 2021 One University Awards honor members of the University community for their scholarship, teaching, academic achievement, leadership, and service.
Cooke is a senior studying human development and family science in the David B. Falk School of Sport and Human Dynamics. The Fairfax, Va., native is a four-year member of the Syracuse field hockey team and appeared in 15 games for the Orange this season and recorded three assists. The captain is a four-time NFHCA All-Academic Squad member and was named a NFHCA DI Scholar of Distinction this year.
Mundundu, a senior rower for the Orange, is a psychology major with a philosophy minor in the College of Arts and Sciences. Mundundu was named to the IRA All-Academic Team last year and is a multi-time recipient of Syracuse University Athletic Director's Honor Roll recognition.
