Boeheim Trio Part Of USA East Coast Roster

Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim and his two sons, Jimmy and Buddy, will participate in an overseas tour with USA East Coast Basketball this summer. Syracuse associate head coach Adrian Autry is also joining in.
USA East Coast Basketball was founded in 2006 and has put together teams of collegiate players for summer exhibition games since that time. Guy Rancourt, the coach at Western Connecticut State, has been involved in coordinating the program for 13 years. This summer, USA East Coast Basketball will field three teams -- Red, White and Blue -- that will compete in exhibition games in Valencia and Barcelona, Spain, against opponents from the host country and France.
A number of prominent coaches have been lined up to lead USA East Coast Basketball. Boeheim, assisted by Autry, will lead the White squad. The Red team has current Memphis assistant and Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown at its helm. Brown has the two playing Boeheims on his roster. In charge of Team Blue is South Carolina coach Frank Martin.
Autry has previous USA East Coast Basketball experience. He served as head coach of a squad that traveled to Greece in 2019.
The group coaching staff also includes Rancourt, Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery, Columbia head coach Jim Engles, Dartmouth assistant Josh Enihorn and Florida Memorial Assistant Jason Gilliam-Alexander.
The full roster of players is to be announced.
The group will convene on July 31 at Manhattan College for practice sessions prior to traveling to Spain.
