Syracuse (8-9 overall, 2-4 ACC) defend the Dome against Clemson (10-7 overall, 2-4 ACC) on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 9 p.m.. The contest will be televised on the ACC Network.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange look to bounce back from a Jan. 15 loss to Florida State. Syracuse was set up for a game-winning shot with nine seconds left, but the attempt bounced off the rim. Florida State was able to convert a field goal and two free throws in the remaining time in the 76-71 Orange defeat.
The Tigers are also coming off an ACC loss. Clemson led by as many as 23 but Boston College rallied and earned a 70-68 decision.
THE SYRACUSE-CLEMSON SERIES
Clemson leads the 12-game series history, 7-5. The last encounter between the two teams was March 3, 2021 and resulted in a 64-54 Orange victory.
SWIDERÂ SWISHES
Cole Swider produced another double digit scoring outing in the game against Florida State. It marked the 11th time out of the last 13 contests he he contributed double-digit scoring. Swider sunk four 3-point shots and finished with 17 points during Saturday's contest. He also tied for team rebound honors with seven.
HALL IS HOT FOR TIGERS
Tigers' sophomore PJ Hall averages 14.5 points per game and has produced double-figure scoring outings in all but one of the games so far this year. In his fourth 20-point effort of the year in Clemson's victory against NC State, he finished with a career-best 10 made field goals.Â
