Syracuse (7-6 overall, 1-1 ACC) heads south to Miami for an ACC match up against Miami (11-3 overall, 3-0 ACC). Tip off in Watsco Center is set for 8:00 p.m. The game will be televised on the ACC Network.

SETTING THE STAGE
Syracuse looks to bounce back from a tight, 74-69, loss against Virginia on Jan. 1. Senior guard Buddy Boeheim topped 20 points for the third straight game and finished with 27.

The Hurricanes will try for their eighth straight win on Wednesday night. Their last outing was a 92-84 victory over Wake Forest, marking their third conference win of the season.

THE SYRACUSE-MIAMI SERIES
Wednesday's competition will be the 30th time the Orange and the Hurricanes meet with Syracuse leading the series 20-9. The last game resulted in a 83-57 Orange victory in January of 2021.

BUDDY DRIVING POINTS
National Player of the Year candidate Buddy Boeheim is averaging 19.5 ppg. He has scored in double digits in 11 out of 13 contests, contributing more than 20 points in each of the last three.

MCGUSTY TOUGH OFFENSE
Sixth-year redshirt senior Kameron McGusty was named ACC Player of the Week after Miami's victories against NC State and Wake Forest last week. McGusty averaged 17.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, four assists and two steals in the two competitions.
