SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse lost to Miami, 3-0, on Sunday at the Women's Building. The teams battled in the first set before Miami won 25-22, and then the Hurricanes took set two, 25-19, and set three 25-17.

"We need to be more consistent with our performances," said head coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam. "The consistency was addressed after Friday's match against Florida State and I was pleased with the adjustments going into today, but we still need to work on continuing that and eliminating our in-game errors."

Polina Shemanova led the charge for 'Cuse (10-12 overall, 6-6 ACC) with 12 total kills and nine digs. Viktoriia Lokhmanchuk and Naomi Franco recorded 10 kills apiece. Alyssa Bert came up big on the defensive end with 14 digs.

Syracuse will be back in action on Friday, Nov. 4th, as it is set to welcome Pittsburgh for Military Appreciation Night. First-serve is set for 7 p.m. and the match will stream live on ACCNX.
