A trio of 'Cuse stars were named to the Preseason All-ACC team on Tuesday.
Syracuse took two of the three spots on the Preseason All-ACC midfield unit, led by Brendan Curry and Tucker Dordevic. LSM Brett Kennedy was also named to the list.
All three players are captains this season.
Dordevic, who was a USILA Third Team All-America selection in 2021, started all-13 games and led all 'Cuse midfielders in points, scoring 23 goals and added eight assists. Voted a team captain for this season, Dordevic has been named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List in each of the past two seasons.
Curry is one-of-two three-time team captains in program history this season. He enters the 2022 campaign having started 42-straight games and has been named an All-American by at least one publication in each of the past three seasons. He scored 17 goals and added 11 assists last year.
Kennedy enters his sixth season with the Orange in 2022. The versatile defender has been named an All-American at both LSM and close defense in his collegiate career. He heads into this season with the ninth-most caused turnovers in program history.
