12 National Broadcasts Announced for Men's Lacrosse
2/4/2022 12:22:00 PM | Men's Lacrosse
2 remaining games to be announced
Twelve of the Orange men's lacrosse program's games are slated for national broadcast, including 10 linear cable network broadcasts this season, ESPN announced on Friday.
Two Syracuse road games – Albany and Stony Brook – are yet to be determined as television rights are dictated by the home institution.
Since 2016, over 95 percent of the Orange's lacrosse contests have been a nationally broadcast content – a number that has continued to rise with ACC Network and ACC Network Extra, which is available in nearly 90-million households.
Syracuse's games vs. Holy Cross (ACCN), at Virginia (ACCN), Army (ACCN), at Johns Hopkins (ESPNU), Duke (ESPNU), at Notre Dame (ESPNU), Cornell (ACCN), at North Carolina (ESPNU), Virginia (ESPNU) and Notre Dame (ESPNU), were picked up for ESPN's linear options. Syracuse's remaining home games are available on ACCNX, with TV info for Stony Brook and Albany yet to be announced.
Full Schedule
The Orange enter an exciting time for the program in 2022, as Gary Gait – widely considered the greatest player in the history of the sport – returning to his alma mater to serve as the fifth head coach in program history.
This year will feature the most Dome games with fans since 2018, after the majority of the 2021 slate featured an empty stadium, 2020 was canceled by COVID and 2019 had a seven-game home schedule. Season tickets are now on sale at Cuse.com/Tickets or by calling 888-DOME-TIX.
