Orange Part Of 2022 Empire Classic Field

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Syracuse joins Richmond, St. John's and Temple in the field for the 27th annual Empire Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project presented by Continental Tire, which will be played on Nov. 21-22, 2022 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Syracuse men's basketball season ticket holders and donors will have a chance to purchase tickets from the Syracuse allotment later this summer. Priority locations will be assigned via the 'Cuse Athletics Fund Donor Rank system.

Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 14, at 10:00 a.m. They will be available through SeatGeek.com.

The game pairings will be announced at a later date.

Syracuse most recently competed in the Empire Classic in 2018-19, when it was the 2K Empire Classic.

In Temple, Syracuse and St. John's, the event has three programs ranked in the top 10 winningest programs in college basketball. The Owls are fifth, followed closely by Syracuse in the sixth slot and St. John's is ninth.

The Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization that offers as variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following September 11, 2001.
