Buddy Boeheim Earns First Team All-ACC

Syracuse senior Buddy Boeheim was named First Team All-ACC and became the fifth Orange performer to earn the recognition in program history.

Boeheim was joined on the first team by Armando Bacot (North Carolina), Paolo Banchero (Duke), Alondes Williams (Wake Forest) and Kameron McGusty (Miami).

Boeheim finished the regular season first in the ACC in points-per-game (19.3), Points (599), free-throw percentage (89.1), minutes-per-game (38:13) and minutes (1,184:45). He ranked second in 3-point field-goal average (2.74), field goals (208), and 3-point field goals (85),

Prior to the ACC Tournament, he ranks second on Syracuse's career 3-point ledger (301) and 13th in career points (1,751).

Other Orange who have received First Team All-ACC honors include: C.J. Fair (2013-14), Rakeem Christmas (2014-15), Michael Gbinije (2015-16) and Elijah Hughes (2019-20).

Syracuse (15-16) begins play in the ACC Tournament against Florida State on Wednesday, March 9, at noon. The Tournament is being conducted at The Barclay's Center in Brooklyn.
