
Orange Lose to Fighting Irish

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- Syracuse (19-14 overall, 3-10 ACC) lost to arv Notre Dame (30-7 overall, 9-7 ACC), 9-0 in the second game of the series. 
Despite producing four hits against Notre Dame's pitcher Alexis Holloway, the Orange were unable to put any runs on the board.Â
A string of hits and walks gave the Fighting Irish a 4-0 lead after the first inning. A single to right field and a three run home run extended Notre Dame's lead to 8-0 in the second inning. The Fighting Irish managed to add one more run in their next trip to the plate leaving the final score at 9-0 after five innings.Â

Syracuse and Notre Dame conclude the series with the final game tomorrow, Sunday April 10 at 12:00 pm. The game will be televised on the ACCNX.Â
