
Syracuse To Meet Bryant On Nov. 26

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse will face a 2022 NCAA Tournament participant when it hosts Bryant on Saturday, Nov. 26, in the JMA Wireless Dome.
Series Notes
- This will mark the second meeting between Syracuse and Bryant in men's basketball.
- The Orange defeated the Bulldogs, 85-84, on Nov. 27, 2020, in the team's season opener. Buddy Boeheim had a squad-best 21 points in the triumph.
Bryant was 22-10 overall and 15-2 in the Northeastern Conference, last season. The Bulldogs defeated Wagner in the conference tournament final, but lost to Wright State, 93-82, in the NCAA First Four. Bryant features senior guard Charles Pride, a Syracuse native who helped Liverpool to the 2017-18 state championship. He averaged 17.7 points per game as a junior.
Syracuse was 16-17 last winter, the program's first losing season since the 1968-69 squad finished 9-16. Guard Joseph Girard III and center Jesse Edwards, each a senior, represent Syracuse's returning starters.
