
Orange Vault Up in National Polls

The Syracuse men's cross country team vaulted into the top-10 for the first time this season and the women rose back into the poll in this week's USTFCCCA rankings.
The 'Cuse men check in at No. 6, up five spots from last week, while the women rank No. 21 after spending last week in the receiving votes category.
Both teams had strong performances at the Virginia Invitational last week. Â The men took fourth overall, besting three teams that were ranked inside the top-10 last week. The women took 10th overall in a field that featured nine of the nation's top-15 teams.
The 'Cuse men are ranked as the second-best team from the ACC in the polls, behind No. 5 North Carolina. The conference boasts four of the nation's top-10 teams and has six ranked squads this week. The women's poll features seven teams from the conference that are ranked this week.
The Orange is back in action on Friday at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
