SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse goalkeeper Delaney Sweitzer headlines a group of three Orange players named to the USA Lacrosse's Preseason All-America Teams. Sweitzer earned a spot on the first team, while Emma Ward and Emma Tyrrell are second-team honorees.

Sweitzer had a breakout season in 2023 when she earned the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Goalkeeper of the Year award. She ranked seventh nationally in saves with a career-high 185. Sweitzer was also eighth in save percentage (.505), 12th in goals-against average (9.20) and third in ground balls per game (3.71).
