The Syracuse track and field teams will race in the NYC Gotham Cup on Friday at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.

'Cuse came away with victories in both the men's and women's 60-meter dashes and 60-meter hurdles at the Nittany Lion Challenge, hosted by Penn State.
Trei Thorogood tied his school record in the 60-meter dash (which he shares with Michael LeBlanc) at 6.67 seconds in the meet.
Orange Entries:
The day will begin with the 60-meter hurdles prelims. The women are up first at Noon with Shaleah Colaire, Taleea Buxton, Peyton Rollins and CJ Fox racing for the Orange. The men will follow with Isaiah Lewis, Emmanuel Joseph, Xayvion Perkins, David Peters, Naseem Smith and Anthony Vazquez.
Those who qualify for the finals will race at 1 and 1:05 p.m., respectively.
After the hurdles, the flat 60-meter dash will begin at 1:10 p.m. Kahniya James, Kaleia Arrington, Morgan Marshall, Olivia Garner and Rollins will run for the women. Daijon Richards will be the lone SU men's competitor racing in the event this week.
In the 400-meter dash, which begins at 2:10 p.m., Shayla Ford is entered for the women, followed by Elijah Mallard, James Nmah and Perkins at 2:30 p.m. for the men.
The event will wrap up for the Orange in the 200-meter dash at 4:52 p.m. Colaire, James, Arrington, Garner and Ford are entered for the women. Nmah, Vazquez and Trei Thorogood will race at 5:15 p.m. for the men.
