Freeman Named McDonald's All-American

Donnie Freeman, a member of the Syracuse men's basketball 2024 recruiting class, was named to the 2024 McDonald's All-American squad.

Freeman, a 6-9, 190 forward, signed his letter of intent with Syracuse in November of 2023. He is in his senior year at the nationally acclaimed IMG Academy (Fla.). He currently ranks 19th in the 2024 ESPN 100 recruiting database and 21st in the 247Sports 2024 top men's basketball recruits. Freeman was also included in the Jersey Mike's Naismith Boys High School Player of the Year preseason watchlist of 50 players.
