
Womack Signs On With Orange Basketball

Aaron Womack, a 6-6 guard from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has committed to enroll and play basketball at Syracuse, starting in 2025, according to the University.
Womack attends Dominican High School. As a junior, he averaged 21.9 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Dominican finished 24-4 overall and 12-2 in the Metro Classic Conference. The Knights reached the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Sectional 4 quarterfinals. Womack topped 30 points four times during the season and had 12 double-doubles. He contributed 34 points and 19 rebounds in a win against Pius XI Catholic. In a victory against Brookfield Academy, Womack posted 32 points and 16 rebounds. He finished the season with 27 points and 12 rebounds versus Carmen Northwest in the WIAA Sectionals.
Dominican was 17-9 in 2022-23 and Womack averaged 19.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per contest. Womack produced double-digit points in 25-of-26 games. In three WIAA postseason contents, Womack averaged 25.7 points and 13.0 boards per game. He had 26 points and 20 rebounds in a win against Carmen Northwest.
Womack helped Dominican to a 21-6 record in 2021-22. He averaged 16.6 points and 4.4 rebounds a game. Womack exceeded 20 points eight times during his sophomore campaign. He had a season-high 27 points twice – in wins against West Allis Central and Nicolet.
Following his first three years of high school, Womack earned First Team All-Metro Classic Conference. He had accumulated 1,250 points prior to his senior season. Womack played for Wisconsin Playground on the AAU Under Armour circuit.
He joins top-15 rated prospect Sadiq White Jr. and Luke Fennell on Syracuse's list of commits from the Class of '25.
