
21 Named to All-ACC Academic Team

Twenty-one Syracuse track and field student-athletes were recognized by the ACC on Tuesday for their success both in the classroom and in competition.
Ten women and 11 men were named to the All-ACC Academic Team on Tuesday. Student-athletes need to maintain both a 3.0 cumulative GPA and 3.0 for the prior semester in their academic calendar and have competed at the ACC or NCAA Championships in the indoor season to be in consideration for the All-ACC Academic Team. The ACC Honor Roll, which honors student-athletes for their academic success, regardless of competition honors, is release in July.
The women's team saw Baneet Bains (Public Relations), Beatriz Fernandes (Bioengineering), Olivia Garner (Social Work), Justus Holden-Betts (Nutrition Science), Sophia Jacobs-Townsley (International Relations), Olivia Joly (Biotechnology), Caroline Kirby (Public Health), Ellie Lawler (Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering), Rylie Lusk (Marriage and Family Therapy) and Peyton Rollins (Management) be selected to the squad.
The men were represented by Connor Ackley (Mechanical Engineering), Eamon Burk (Undeclared – enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences), Alex Comerford (Information Systems), Silas Derfel (Exercise Science), Assaf Harari (Mechanical Engineering), Perry Mackinnon (Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises), Paul O'Donnell (Finance), Xayvion Perkins (Broadcast & Digital Journalism/Political Science), Ruben Rojas Betanzos (Bioengineering), Alexander Segarra (Computer Science) and Ethan Wechsler (Political Science).
