Fox Sports 1 has added Syracuse football's game at UNLV to its fall broadcast lineup, moving the game to Friday night.
The Orange and Rebels will meet for the first time in program history on Oct. 4, with the game scheduled to kick off at 9 p.m. eastern (6 p.m. pacific).
It's now the third weeknight prime-time matchup for the Orange in head coach Fran Brown's first season at the helm of the program, joining the Friday, Sept. 20 Dome contest vs. Stanford (7:30 p.m. | ESPN) and the Thursday, Oct. 24 matchup at Pittsburgh (7:30 p.m. | ESPN).
Half of Syracuse's regular-season game times have now been announced. Besides the three weeknight prime-time matchups, other previous announcements include the season opener vs. Ohio (Aug. 31, 3:30 p.m. | ACCN), week two vs. Georgia Tech (Sept. 7, 12 p.m. | ACCN) and the September finale vs. Holy Cross (Sept. 28, 12 p.m. | ACCNX).
The new era of 'Cuse football also comes with the next phase of the JMA Wireless Dome, as chairback seating is being installed throughout the venue this summer. The reseat process is currently underway and fans can still purchase season tickets at Cuse.com/Tickets to be part of the action.
