Syracuse And Bucknell Set December Dome Appointment

Syracuse and Bucknell have scheduled a men's basketball encounter for Saturday, December 28, in the JMA Wireless Dome.

The Syracuse-Bucknell Series:

The Orange have a 10-1 advantage in the all-time series.
Syracuse won the most recent matchup, a 97-46 victory on Nov. 23, 2019.
The series began in 1914-15.
The Orange were victors in the first eight pairings.
Bucknell's triumph came on Nov. 22, 2005, 74-69.

The Orange were 20-12 a season ago in Adrian Autry's first year at the helm. The Orange return guard J.J. Starling (13.3 ppg.) and Chris Bell (12.0 ppg.) from last year's squad. Both head into their junior campaigns as returning starters.

Bucknell was 14-19 overall and 10-8 in the Patriot League a year ago. The Bison lost to Colgate in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament. John Griffin III, who was a 1,000-point scorer at Bucknell, returned to his alma mater as head coach in 2023. Center Noah Williamson (12.3 ppg., 6.4 rpg.) and guard Elvin Edmonds IV (10.8 ppg.) are two top returning letter winners.
