Linebacker Marlowe Wax earned ACC Linebacker of the Week honors for his week one performance against Ohio.

Wax notched a pair of tackles for loss, six total tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in the win over Ohio. He moved into sole possession of second on the program's all-time forced fumbles list in the process (9), where he only trails legendary pass rusher and Pro and College Football Hall of Fame selection Dwight Freeney (14).

He joins QB Kyle McCord in earning weekly performance honors after he made the Davey O'Brien Great 8 this week.
