
Zaire Franklin Selected to Pro Bowl

Former Syracuse linebacker Zaire Franklin has been selected to the Pro Bowl.
The three-time 'Cuse captain has led the NFL in tackles in this season (165) and finished in the top-four of the category in each of the last three seasons. He has 605 tackles in his pro career thus far, with seven sacks, three interceptions and 20 passes defended. Â
A captain for the Indianapolis Colts, Franklin is in his seventh season in the league, after earning All-ACC honors twice in his collegiate career. He played in all-48 games of his four-year collegiate career, ending his time in Syracuse with 39-straight starts. He had 311 tackles, which at the time was the most by a Syracuse player in over a decade, and ranks in the top-15 of school history with 31.5 tackles for loss.
It's Franklin's first Pro Bowl selection.
