Syracuse and Jacksonville's First Meeting
Syracuse and Jacksonville will open the 2025 season with the first meeting in program history on Saturday, Feb. 1. Jacksonville's first season was just in 2010 but the Dolphins have several notable accomplishments to their credit, including an appearance in the Southern Conference championship game in 2022 and the ASUN title game last spring.

John Galloway's Return
Syracuse's own John Galloway '11 returns to the Dome as the head coach for the Jacksonville Dolphins. Galloway graduated from Syracuse in 2011 and began coaching for the Dolphins in 2016. While at Syracuse, Galloway was the only goalie in Syracuse history to earn First Team All-America honors twice and the only starting goalie in NCAA history to win national championships in his first two years, leading the Orange to titles in 2008 and 2009.
Season and Single Game Tickets on Sale
Season and single-game tickets are on sale for the 2025 Syracuse men's lacrosse season. Season tickets begin at $99 per ticket, averaging $11 per ticket, while single-game tickets start at $12.25 per ticket. Men's and women's lacrosse combo tickets are on sale for $130 per package, a savings of $29 off the regular season price.

Preseason Rankings
Syracuse enters the 2025 season ranked 2nd in the Inside Lacrosse Media Preseason Poll. The Orange ended the 2024 season at 12-6 and reaching the NCAA Quarterfinals. The Orange knocked off CAA champion Towson 20-15 as the first round of the NCAA Tournament made its return to the JMA Wireless Dome. Syracuse is scheduled to face nine teams ranked in the preseason poll.
