
Six Earn Academic All-District

Syracuse had six squad members earn a spot on the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators.
The Orange were represented by graduate students Emma Klein and Ashley Rauch, senior Mia Klammer, and sophomores Anna Croyle, Jasmine Nixon and Gabby Wisbeck. All six players started in each of Syracuse's 18 matches. Klammer, a forward, led the Orange in scoring with eight goals and 19 points. Rauch, a midfielder, ranked second with five goals and 15 points, while topping the squad with five assists. Croyle and Wisbeck, each midfielders, had a goal apiece in 2025. Nixon, a defender, averaged a team-best 87.9 minutes played. Klein, who missed most of the last two seasons with injuries, was a stabilizing force in the midfield for Syracuse.
Institutions are permitted to nominate a maximum of six student-athletes.
To qualify for the recognition, a student-athlete must meet the following criteria:

- Emma Klein earned her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and is pursuing a master's degree in engineering management.
- Ashley Rauch earned a bachelor's degree in finance and is working toward a master's in applied data science.
- Mia Klammer is majoring in selected studies in education.
- Anna Croyle is majoring in sport management.
- Jasmine Nixon is majoring in finance.
- Gabby Wisbeck is majoring in biotechnology.
Institutions are permitted to nominate a maximum of six student-athletes.
To qualify for the recognition, a student-athlete must meet the following criteria:
- An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale)
- A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
- Eligible soccer nominees must compete in 75 percent of an institution's matches or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's contests.
