Final Game of Columbus Classic Canceled Due to Weather

Orange off to 9-0 start
Syracuse softball's final game of The Columbus Classic has been canceled due to field and weather conditions.
The Orange won all-four games at the tournament before Sunday's cancellation, sweeping two games each against LIU and Tennessee Tech. The team now sits at 9-0, the best start to a season in program history.
'Cuse will head to Athens, Georgia for five games at the Georgia Classic, beginning with a double-header vs. App State and Utah Valley on Friday, before facing tournament host No. 11 Georgia on Saturday for the first ranked test of the 2025 campaign.
Fans will have to wait little more than a month to see the Orange at home, with the home-opener scheduled for Wednesday, March 19.
