
Men’s Lacrosse Remains in Top 10

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Despite its first setback of the 2025 season, Syracuse University men's lacrosse remained in the top 10 of the major polls this week.
Syracuse (3-1) slipped five spots in the USILA Coaches Poll to number seven with 433 points.Notre Dame remained at the top with 620 points and all 31 first-place votes. Maryland moved up to the number two spot with 552 points followed by Cornell (535), Johns Hopkins (523) and Princeton (461).
The Orange slid four spots in the Inside Lacrosse Division I Media Poll this week, picking up 310 points after the road loss at Maryland. Notre Dame occupied the top spot with 440 points and all 22 first-place nods. Maryland also moved to second in the media poll with 402 points. The remainder of the media's top five were the same as the coaches: No. 3 Johns Hopkins (382), No. 4 Cornell (380) and No. 5 Princeton (369).
During the 2025 season, Syracuse will face nine teams in the USILA Coaches Poll this week: No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 2 Maryland, No. 3 Cornell, No. 4 Johns Hopkins, No. 6 Duke, No. 9 North Carolina, No. 12 Virginia, No. 15 Harvard, and Utah, which received votes again this week. Additionally, Colgate is on the slate as the Raiders received votes in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
No. 7/No.6 Syracuse returns to the JMA Wireless Dome for a top-15 showdown against No. 15/No. 15 Harvard on Saturday. Game time is set for 1 p.m. on ACC Network Extra. Tickets are available on Cuse.com/Tickets or by calling the box office at 1-888-DOME-TIX (1-888-3663-849).
