CHARLOTTE – Syracuse goalkeeper Danny Guyette is this week's ACC Women's Lacrosse Co-Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Orange to a pair of top 20 wins. It is the first career Player of the Week honor for Guyette.

The junior recorded 11 saves and two ground balls in the Orange's win at then No. 17 Loyola. Guyette also posted 11 saves in a 12-11 victory against No. 20 Notre Dame. She made back-to-back saves with four minutes to play that preserved a one-goal lead for Syracuse as it went on to its fourth top-20 win of the season. Guyette has now reached double figures in saves in seven games this season.

Guyette and the Orange are back in action on Saturday, March 29 when they host No. 11 Virginia in the JMA Wireless Dome at noon on Senior Day. Tickets are on sale at Cuse.com/tickets.
