Fennell Named To Australian U19 Squad

Incoming Syracuse freshman Luke Fennell has been named to the 12-player Australia U19 team, according to Australia Basketball.
The squad will compete in the FIBA U19 Men's Basketball World Cup, scheduled for June 28-to-July 6 in Switzerland.
Fennell, a 6-6 combo guard, plays at South East Melbourne. The Phoenix competes in the National Basketball League (NBL), a professional league in Australia and New Zealand.Â
He participated in the 2024 FIBA U18 Asia Cup with Australia. Fennell averaged 11.8 points per game and helped propel the Aussies to a 6-0 record and the tournament victory. Australia also won the gold medal in the Albert Sweitzer Games in Germany after posting a 7-0 mark in the competition.
