White Earns USA Basketball U19 Camp Invite

Incoming Syracuse freshman Sadiq White is one of 33 athletes who have earned an invitation to the 2025 USA Basketball Men's U19 National Team training camp in June at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The camp is scheduled to begin on June 14. A 12-member roster will be selected to compete in the FIBA U19 Men's World Cup in Lausanne, Switzerland, which begins June 28.
White spent the past year at IMG Academy in Florida. He was selected to the Allen Iverson Roundball Classic and the Jordan Brand Classic Game following his scholastic season.
"We are looking forward to the pool of players coming to Colorado Springs with the hope to represent the United States at the FIBA U19 Men's World Cup," USA Basketball Men's National Team director Sean Ford said. "We are confident that we will build the best team to compete in Switzerland from this group of USA Basketball veterans and newcomers."Â
Players include candidates who recently concluded their freshman year of college or who will be in high school graduating classes of 2025 and 2026.
Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd will lead the U19 squad and be assisted by Grant McCasland (Texas Tech) and Micah Shrewsberry (Notre Dame). Training camp court coaches include Hubert Davis (North Carolina), Nate Oats (Alabama) and Mark Pope (Kentucky).
