Syracuse Schedules Hoop Contest With Hofstra

Syracuse men's basketball will host Hofstra on Saturday, December 13, at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The Syracuse-Hofstra Series:
The Orange return their top two scorers, senior guard J.J. Starling (17.8 ppg.) and sophomore forward Donnie Freeman (13.4 ppg., 7.9 rpg.), from the 2024-25 squad that was 14-19. Third-year coach Adrian Autry has added six transfers and five freshmen to the Syracuse roster.  Â

Hofstra
Hofstra was 15-18 overall and 6-12 in the Colonial Athletic Association a season ago. Coach Speedy Claxton has guided the Pride to three 20-win campaigns in four seasons at the helm. Hofstra returns leading scorer Cruz Davis (14.4 ppg., 4.4 apg., 3.8 rpg.), a 6-3 guard.

- The Orange won the most recent game, an 85-60 victory on Dec. 22, 2006.
