SU And St. Joseph's Will Meet In Las Vegas

Syracuse and Saint Joseph's will square off in a neutral-site matchup in Las Vegas on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The contest is scheduled just prior to Syracuse's participation in the Players Era Men's Championship.

The Syracuse-Saint Joseph's Series:

The Orange and the Hawks have split the eight meetings in the all-time series.
Syracuse won the most recent matchup, a 72-69 victory on Nov. 13, 2007.
The Orange have captured three of the last four encounters with Saint Joseph's.
All five pairings have been contested in the JMA Wireless Dome.

Syracuse
      The Orange return their top two scorers, senior guard J.J. Starling (17.8 ppg.) and sophomore forward Donnie Freeman (13.4 ppg., 7.9 rpg.), from the 2024-25 squad that was 14-19. Third-year coach Adrian Autry has added six transfers and five freshmen to the Syracuse roster.

Saint Joseph's
      Saint Joseph's was 22-13 overall and 11-7 in the Atlantic 10 Conference a season ago. Coach Billy Lange heads into his seventh season at the Hawk helm. Saint Joseph's returns graduate student Justice Ajogbor (4.7 ppg., 4.4 rpg.), a center, and senior guard Derek Simpson (8.7 ppg., 3.9 rpg.), who each appeared in all 35 games last year.
