Syracuse Hoops Hosts Monmouth Nov. 18

Syracuse will host Monmouth on Tuesday, November 18, in a men's basketball encounter at the JMA Wireless Dome.

The Syracuse-Monmouth Series:

Syracuse has won all three prior contests with Monmouth.
Syracuse won the most recent matchup, an 86-71 victory on Dec. 12, 2022.
The Orange and the Hawks first met in 2012-13.
All three pairings have been played in the JMA Wireless Dome.

Syracuse
      The Orange return their top two scorers, senior guard J.J. Starling (17.8 ppg.) and sophomore forward Donnie Freeman (13.4 ppg., 7.9 rpg.), from the 2024-25 squad that was 14-19. Third-year coach Adrian Autry has added six transfers and five freshmen to the Syracuse roster.

Monmouth
      Monmouth was 13-20 overall and 10-8 in the Coastal Athletic Association a season ago. Coach King Rice guided the Hawks to wins in eight of the last 12 contests. Rice's staff includes former Syracuse assistant Rick Callahan. The Hawks feature senior guard Jack Collins (9.3 ppg., 5.8 rpg.).
