Knezkova, Sysoeva Named ACC Doubles Team of the Week

The Syracuse tandem of junior Nelly Knezkova and senior Anastasia Sysoeva were named the ACC Doubles Team of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Knezkova and Sysoeva teamed up for a pair of victories at the No. 1 doubles position over the weekend. The duo opened their dual match season with a commanding 6-1 victory over Cornell's Martina Marica and Victoria Zhao.
The Orange pair then faced Fordham's Nevena Kolarevic and Julianne Nguyen, a doubles team that competed in the 2025 NCAA Championships just a couple of months ago. Knezkova and Sysoeva handled the match, prevailing 6-3.
Both players remained undefeated in singles play as well, posting 2-0 records with Sysoeva competing at No. 2 and Knezkova holding down the No. 3 position.
The Orange return to action on January 30 when they travel to Florida to face FAU.
