Nine Earn All-ACC Academic Honors

Nine Syracuse football players were honored for their success in the classroom, earning All-ACC Academic Team honors.
New this year, the All-ACC Academic Team only honors undergraduate students, graduate students will be honored for academic excellence at a later date. In order to be considered for the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.0 grade point average for each of the last-two semesters and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, while appearing in 50-percent or more of the games during a season.
Syracuse's honorees were Fran Brown Jr. (entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises), David Clement (policy studies), Rickie Collins (communication and rhetorical studies), Josh Kubala (political science), Nathan Nyandoro (undeclared), Emanuel Ross (communication and rhetorical studies), Ethan Stangle (finance), Elijah Washington-Baker (innovation, society and technology) and Tripp Woody (communication and rhetorical studies).
Clement was a multi-year honoree, being selected to the team for the third-straight season.
