Home-and-home encounters with Pittsburgh and Stanford highlight the ACC portion of the 2026-27 Syracuse men's basketball schedule, which was announced on Thursday by the league.
THE ACC SCHEDULE FORMULA
The ACC released the opponents and sites for its member schools. Each ACC program schedule includes the following:
Syracuse's traditional ACC rival continues to be Pittsburgh. The Orange and the Panthers have had a home-and-home series each season since 2013-14. Syracuse will also meet Stanford twice during the regular season. The Orange did not face the Cardinal a year ago. NC State is absent from the Syracuse schedule in 2026-27.
Overall, Syracuse has home-court pairings with: Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Virginia and Wake Forest, setting up an exciting conference home slate to open the McNamERA. ORANGE ACC SCHEDULE NOTES
- ACC foes Clemson, Duke, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, SMU and Virginia earned NCAA Tournament berths in 2025-26.
- California and Wake Forest received 2025-26 NIT spots.
- First-year Syracuse Coach Gerry McNamara's most recent game was as Siena's mentor in the 2026 NCAA Tournament against Duke.
- Syracuse has played 130 contests with Pittsburgh, the most games the Orange have played against any current ACC school.
- The Orange and Stanford have only met twice, the fewest number of encounters with an ACC foe for Syracuse.
- Since Syracuse joined the ACC in 2013-14, the Orange have hosted Duke eight times in 13 seasons.
- Seven of the eight Duke encounters have drawn crowds of 30,000+ to the JMA Wireless Dome.
- Seven of the eight home-court faceoffs with the Blue Devils attracted the largest on-campus college basketball crowds of that season.Â
