Da Costa Named to ACC Preseason Watch List

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Syracuse University men's soccer midfielder Kelvin Da Costa has been named to the Atlantic Coast Conference Preseason Watch List ahead of the 2026 season, as announced by the ACC office.
Across his time with the Orange, Da Costa has appeared in 30 matches, including 22 starts, and has totaled 1,953 minutes at midfield. He has recorded one goal, two points and seven shots during his Syracuse career.
Da Costa enters his junior season with the Orange after a strong sophomore campaign in 2025. He appeared in 18 matches and made 17 starts, playing a total of 1,366 minutes. He notched one goal on four shots and finished the season with two points. During his freshman season in 2024, Da Costa appeared in 12 matches and made five starts while playing 587 minutes.
With two seasons of experience under his belt, Da Costa will look to build on his foundation as the Orange are set to travel to Penn State to wrap up their preseason on Friday, Aug. 14, at 7 p.m.
