The Syracuse tennis team competed at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, N.C., with Nelly Knezkova and Monika Wojcik both earning a spot it in the tournament.

Knezkova battled Illinois' Shravani Chennamsetty in a hard-fought three-setter, ultimately falling 6-0, 0-6, 6-7(3). Wojcik took on North Carolina's Theadora Rabman, dropping a 6-1, 6-0 decision.

Wojcik and Knezkova are back in action on Sept. 28 as they compete in the UTR Fall Pro Slam in Ithaca N.Y..
