Syracuse Office of Athletic Compliance Conducts NCAA Clearinghouse/Eligibility & Recruiting Guidelines Seminar
The Syracuse University Office of Athletic Compliance (OAC) will be conducting a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Clearinghouse/Eligibility & Recruiting Guidelines seminar on Tuesday May 22nd, 2001. The seminar will be held at the Stevenson Educational Center's ACES large study room located in Manley Field House on the campus of Syracuse University. The seminar will begin at 6:00 PM and last approximately an hour and a half.
This seminar is intended to educate/inform high-school student-athletes, their parents, high-school coaches, guidance counselors and administrators on the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse and Recruiting process. Student-athletes who have ambitions to attend a NCAA Division I or II college/university to participate in intercollegiate athletics are encouraged to attend this seminar as it is an important step in understanding the eligibility requirements of the NCAA and the Clearinghouse. Please pass this information along to your student-athletes, guidance counselors and coaches.
