Syracuse Game Notes

The touchdown scored by Chris Davis marks the first time this season that Syracuse has scored in the first quarter. The 1-yard run was Davis' first rush of the year.
Jamel Riddle caught a 41-yard pass from Troy Nunes for his longest career reception. Prior to the game he had three catches for 22 yards.
Running back Walter Reyes had a career-high eight carries for 33 yards. He surpassed both his career highs in the Orangemen's first drive of the second half.
Jeremie Frazier caught his first pass reception of the season on a throw from R.J. Anderson.
Senior running back James Mungro scored his first touchdown of the season on a two-yard rush up the middle. It was his 17th career touchdown. Mungro has recorded seven 100-yard rushing games. He is currently tied for seventh with Malcolm Thomas and Dee Brown on SU's ist for career 100-yard rushing games. Mungro went on to score another touchdown in the game and had 26 carries for 121 yards.
Dwight Freeney extended his consecutive games-with-a-sack record to 11. His game total for sacks was two. It is his fifth straight game with at least two sacks.
Linebacker Rodney Wells picked off a UCF pass for his first career interception.
