Rowing; No. 6 Orangewomen Stay Unbeaten, Defeat No. 7 Radcliffe
The varsity eight, coxsained by Heather DiLoreto (East Amherst, NY), crusied to a 6:56.2 finish. Radcliffe finished in 6:59.2 and Darmouth finished in 7:21.8. Jillian Kott (McLean, VA), SU's 2000 first-team All-American, was the stroke for the varsity eight and captains Katie Modolo (St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada) and Libby Graves (Holden, MA) were in the seventh and fourth seats, repectively.
SU had boats finish in second place in both the junior varsity eight and varsity four races. In the freshman eight race Syracuse finished third with a time of 7:44.0.
The Orangewomen's next race is the first-ever BIG EAST Challenge, April 28-29, in Worcester, MA.
