Coach Boeheim Quotes
Seton Hall at Syracuse

Carrier Dome, Syracuse, N.Y.
"I thought early Gerry (McNamara) and Hakim (Warrick) were very good. I thought they really did a tremendous job kicking the ball out. I thought our zone defense was much better inside. Better than it was at Seton Hall. I thought we did a much better job overall in the first half. They got some shots, but we contested them much better. We did a much better job down the lane and we still got out to their three-point shooters."
On Billy Edelin’s play:
"One good thing about Billy coming back is that they’re pressing Gerry and Carmelo (Anthony) so much that he is going to get some openings. I thought this was a good night for him to get an opportunity to get out there and do some things. He took advantage of that. He was much better. He made his free throws and he did a good job on the defensive end for us."
On SU’s offensive rebounding:
"We did a good job on the offensive glass in the first half. In the second half we were spread out a little bit. We got more shots. We made more shots. There really weren’t that many opportunities to get offensive rebounds in the second half."
On Jeremy McNeil:
"I thought he was active in the first half. I think when he is active, he helps us. He not only blocked shots, but he was active and kept the ball out of the lane."
On SU’s defense against the three-point shot:
"I thought we got out on their shooters pretty good. We were pretty good on them tonight. The only shot Barrett got in the second half was that great pass out. But I thought we did a much better job defending the three."
