On his experience transitioning to life at Syracuse:
“It’s been exciting to meet the players and get around the campus. It’s been a good experience so far.”
On his initial impressions of the football program:
“It’s a well-rounded program. We’ve started our lifting and conditioning. Everything’s been going pretty well so far with that.”
On making his decision to attend Syracuse:
“It wasn’t that hard. It was pretty much my top choice because my family would have the opportunity to come see me play. I just felt comfortable up here. I like the campus. It’s easy to get around. The area reminded me of where I’m from, like the weather – not quite as much snow though.”

On how he ended up at Syracuse:
“I looked at the schools that recruited me and I just felt the most comfortable up here with the campus and all the coaches. I just felt this was the best place for me to come. When you play in high school, that’s always your goal – to go to the highest level you can. So, I’m really excited that I was able to end up at a good Division I school like Syracuse.”
