Head Coach Greg Robinson's Remarks on New Football Uniforms
"They asked me what I think of the uniforms and this is the first I’ve seen of any of them, other than what we wore in spring ball. I really like it. I like that we have different, diverse combinations that we can go to. I really like the idea, as Daryl likes to term “the retro look,” a bit of a throwback and respecting the past. All the themes that have been stated I think fit with the uniforms. I think there is a sharp look about them. I think it has something to do with the four guys who are wearing them, too. That’s part of the plan, right? What it does is it kind of gets me fired up. It lets me know that it is getting closer and closer and that’s exciting to all of us. As a group, they’re all working on there own and doing what they can to prepare. As I see them in these uniforms right now, it’s pretty exciting."Which uniform are you going wearing for the opener?
"I can’t tell you yet. I do know though, (laughing) that it will have orange and blue and white."

Can you talk about not having an orange jersey for this year?
"I think the thing we have really tried to establish is a traditional look from the past and tie it in with technology. Really those two combinations right here between Anthony (Smith) and Joe (Kowalewski) is definitely retro-looking unis right there. And then I think what both Damien (Rhodes) and Kellen (Pruitt) are wearing are more what has been representative of the recent past. I think this gives us a lot of ways to go."
