1970 All-American
Ehrmann was an All-American defensive tackle with the Orange in 1970. He went on to a successful NFL career as a member of the Baltimore Colts and Detroit Lions. Ehrmann was selected to play in the 1976 NFL Pro Bowl. In 2004, Ehrmann was presented with the 2004 George Arents Pioneers Medals for outstanding accomplishments. The George Arents Pioneers Medals are the highest alumni honors that the University presents. He was named to Syracuse University's All-Century team in November, 1999.
