A standout for the Orange from 1950-1953 … Named a first-team All-American in 1953 … Played two seasons of basketball at SU, lettering in 1953…After his graduation he taught physical education and coached soccer at various schools for 15 years … He was the first Director of Physical Education at Harrisburg Community College and held the position from 1969-1991 … Established the Hampden Township Youth Soccer program … In 1972, he established the Pennsylvania Hardcourt Tennis Championship … Also was a soccer referee and worked 66 NCAA Tournament games … Named a Syracuse Letterwinner of Distinction in 2003.
