2004 Letterwinner of Distinction
Gerald Skonieczki was a member of the Syracuse football team from 1957 to 1959. He was part of the “Sizable Seven” who helped lead the Orange to the 1959 National Championship. While at SU, Skonieczki was a senior class president candidate and a member of the R.O.T.C.
Skonieczki has worked for the Wyeth-Ayerst Division of American Home Products Corporation since 1965. He has received numerous northeast regional sales awards for his work as a pharmaceutical sales representative. Skonieczki is very involved within his hometown community. He has served as a board member for the Boys & Girls Club of Western Broome County and continues to support the program. He is also active in a youth football league and Little League Baseball. Skonieczki is a member of the Ernie Davis Fund, Orange Pack and Varsity Club.
