Raymond A. Brunner received a Bachelor of Arts degree fromSyracuse University in 1939. Brunner earned a varsity letter in 1938 from Syracuse as manager of the football team. While at Syracuse , he served as president of Phi Kappa Alpha and was an officer for the Theta Chi Fraternity. Recently Brunner worked as a recruiter for the Medical Center of Delaware. He organized a complete personnel program for a new medical center, which was a result of four local hospitals merging into one. Before his time at the Medical Center of Delaware, Brunner worked as the first personnel director for the Albany Hospital . Brunner is an active member of his community, serving on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross in Albany . He has served on the Advisory Board of the Cobleskill Agricultural and Technical College and was a Deacon for the Delmar New York Methodist Church . He has served as the National Alumni vice president, was the president of the Albany Chapter of Syracuse University for seven years and is a member of the Football Lettermen’s Club. Brunner’s wife is also a graduate of Syracuse , as is their daughter, Pat.
