- Contestants must enter to qualify from August 1, 2009 to October 20, 2009 11:59 pm.
- On October 20, 2009, 10 finalists will be chosen from the qualified contestant applicant pool at random.
- The Grand Prize Giveaway will be October 24, 2009 at the New York Sash Booth in the Football Fun Zone on the Syracuse University Quad prior to the kickoff of the SU vs. Akron Football Game.
- Each of the ten finalists will report to the New York Sash Booth at a designated time. At this time they will receive two complimentary tickets to the day’s football game obtained and provided by New York Sash. In addition, they will receive their opportunity to win the New York Sash $10,000 Home Improvement Makeover. There will be one Grand Prize Winner.
