Timothy P. Ahern, 1978 (Football)
Upon graduation, he worked for Price Waterhouse & Co. Public Accounting Firm for four years. Ahern then worked for more than five years for Oneida Ltd, serving in several different positions - from senior auditor to vice president and controller. From 1986 through 1988 1986 Ahern held several positions within the Pyramid Companies, including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Re-Capitalization. He was instrumental in establishing Pyramid as a leading shopping center developer in the nation. In 1988 Ahern left Pyramid to start his own company, Ahern, Murphy & Associates. Ahern is the founder and principal owner of the premier leadership and management development firm in central New York. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, New York State Society of CPAs and a member of the American Institute of Internal Auditors.
Ahern has been a leader within his profession and in the community. He has served on the Salvation Army Board and has been a Young Adult Professional Association faculty member for the training division. He currently serves on the Project Café Board and the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce Board. He is a communicant of St. James Church in Cazenovia, where he serves on the Finance Committee and also is a religious education instructor. He and his wife have also been presenters for the Worldwide Marriage Encounter. In addition, is the head football coach for Cazenovia Junior High School.
Since graduation Ahern has remained very active with his alma mater and the athletics department. He is a member of the Varsity Club Board of Directors and is the president of the Football Lettermen's Club.
